Hello and thank you for reading my profile.
I am a 54 year old woman, not a tourist and non-smoker, that is quiet and tends to be a homebody. While previously working and volunteering in Community Services, I will be studying a Horticulture qualification in 2023 and eventually, when there is more available housing, to work and live in the South West. I’ve also completed a pet grooming qualification, which included pet first aid and behavioural management units.
I had a 7 year old West Highland White Terrier. His name was Fionnlagh; which is white warrior in Gaelic but he crossed the rainbow very suddenly this October and I miss him beyond words. He was the icebreaker for all the beautiful animals we cared for and helped so much, if pets suffered any separation anxiety. So your pet will get so much love and cuddles I can give.
Over the previous three and a half years, Fionn and I have cared for a bunch of fabulous dogs, cats, fish, birds, horses, alpacas, goats, geese, ducks, sheep, chooks, guinea fowl, budgies, a python and a peacock in Roelands, Wonnerup, Margaret River, Yallingup, Esperance, Banksia Grove, Dalyellup, Perth, Wandering and Forrest Beach among other beautiful areas in WA.
The properties I’ve cared for have ranged in size from a suburban block to a 7 acre AirBnB and 157 hectare winery. I have experience with water pumps, ride on mowers, sprayers and reticulation systems for large gardens and farms as well keeping the plants and lawn alive/flourishing and staying on top of the weeds.
Many of this year's sits have been referrals or repeat sits and I have references written on my profile and can provide contact details for any homeowners you would prefer to speak to in person.
I’m happy to have a chat on the phone to answer any questions you may have or visit you to meet.
I will treat your house and animals with all the love and respect you would yourself at NO CHARGE.
