Hello,
We are a family of 4 living locally in Kilsyth.
We are available to house sit in the local surrounds.
Hubby works in Nunawading, parents live in Vermont and we reside around Croydon/Montrose area for kinder/school/kids activities.
We have two young children (4 and 6) who are delights. We keep a clean home (and children- no sticky hands!). We are quiet people (we may have our retired parents over for a cuppa tea and play with the kids).
We own animals who are currently staying at the grandparents (our cat Maggie who is 11 years old- short domestic black and our dog Fergus who is a Jack Russell, 12 years old). They won’t be with us and are happy at the grandparents.
I (Katherine) have owned rabbits and budgies in the past as well.
Our sons are young and very gentle. My eldest who is 6 loves reptiles and he really cares about animals of all kinds.
We don’t drink at all, we don’t smoke

We are flexible and respectful people who are seeking a mutually beneficial arrangement to care for your home and/or pets and for us to have somewhere to reside close to our family activities.
We would like to stay near Croydon, Mooroolbark or Kilsyth.

We are happy to keep you informed and follow any directions you may have for us such as pet, gardening and water routines in exchange to stay in your home and care for it like our own.
We will keep a clean home and follow any of your routines (ie composting, ways to stack dishwashers, cleaning guides, laundry etc).
We are happy to accommodate requests such as regular updates etc.

The photos show us, our gentle child (trying to keep their privacy), our cat who loves our car haha and the front of our home which we’ve recently sold. That’s my hubby and my dad having ice cream o’clock while building the fence.
I really don’t know what photos to put up, hopefully this gives a glance of who we are.
We are happy to discuss further if you feel we are the right fit.
We usually do a load of washing every two days, we do dishes straight away, can vacuum every day, wipe showers after use etc.
It is essential that the animals are safe for Children. We have taught our children to be mindful when out and never pat an animal unless the owner says it’s ok. We are happy to care for nippy cats (our kids know to give them distance), but we are unfortunately not able to care for dogs that may be reactive to children/haven’t been around children.

My hubby can do the gardening as well for longer stays. I am happy to detail clean homes for longer stays of two weeks (walls, doors, cupboards, first floor windows etc) or maintain the general house cleaning for shorter stays (bathrooms, kitchen, floors). Read more...
