A warm hello from Navina & Adam,

We are a couple relocating from Melbourne and have included a little about ourselves below. We are also finishing a house sit towards the end of May and will happily provide a testimonial from Jara our house host whose apartment we are currently living in Carlton, Melbourne. We are taking care of her gorgeous and sassy cat Gerald who is a two year old tabby who loves cuddles.

Navina: A little bit about myself, I am an Online English Lecturer for a University in China. I work from home with 28 teaching hours per week. I am independent and resourceful book lover. I spend time between classes trying out new recipes, going for long walks and writing a novel I hope to one day publish! Born and raised in Melbourne I am looking for a change in lifestyle to somewhere a little different and in a new location while I make plans for the future! I have always grown up with pets, our family had two poodles over the years (one poodle cross Maltese-shihtzu called Lulu, and a standard Poodle featured in the profile photos called Frankie).

I am used to caring for pets and have no issues with tidying up after them, feeding them and of course most importantly giving them lots of cuddles! Frankie was a large dog and required walks twice a day, with my teaching schedule this was a great way to break up the monotony of the day and enjoy some time in nature. I also house sat in Washington DC for six months for a family friend where I cared for a beautiful tabby cat named Aggie. Confident and comfortable caring for both cats and dogs, I am a tidy self sufficient individual who has worked in Education for the past five years in numerous Victorian Universities. I love working with people however naturally with my passion for writing I have now moved to a completely remote job so I can dedicate more time to my latest written adventure!

Adam: I am a Landscape Garden Designer from the southeast of England currently working in the surrounding areas of Melbourne. I am also a full-time student studying leadership and management with hopes of starting my own personal training business in the near future. I have been jumping between continents for the last 5 years working along the way to fund my travels but have always come running back to Australia with hopes of making it my home. As an avid gym goer and runner, I’m looking for a lifestyle and location change so I can priorities these things whilst also focusing on my studies.

I have grown up with pets my whole life, and my family currently have a 6-year-old staffy named Pablo. He’s energetic, loving but can be cheeky and troublesome. He would come to work with me every day, always riding shotgun in the passenger seat of my van. He was useless on the tools and often running on newly laid patios and flower beds but was a big hit with the customers. I would take him for long walks every day after work and often take him running with me on weekends. Unfortunately, he suffers with separation anxiety so cannot be left alone at all, so I know what it takes when it comes to giving a pet constant attention and care. We made a good team.
