Hi all,
We are an Aussie couple from Cairns travelling around Australia in a rooftop tent in our 4x4 Prado. Nick is 24 and Shannon is 23, both non smokers and both triple vaccinated.

We are adventurous and love everything outdoors. We are unsuccessful fishos but still love to try our luck often and any activities in the water or ocean make us happy. We would look after your home and pets as if they were our own. We absolutely adore animals and love meeting new people! We are easily won over by dogs and cats, so looking after your pets is just a massive bonus for us. Back home we lived with a little staffy named Wombat who we miss dearly and a childhood dog named Daisy who is now in doggy heaven, where all dogs go. Both childhood cats Crash and Seisha have also gone to cat heaven. We have had other pets as well (dogs, cats & chickens) but unfortunately no longer have any of our own. To be be able to look after your pets would truly bring us joy!

We have been on this trip for about a year and a half, including a 9 month working break in a rental property in Perth where Nick worked at a boat lifting shipyard in Fremantle and Shannon at a Bar/Restaurant also in Fremantle. Before leaving on this trip Nick worked as a telecommunications technician then a fire service technician before packing it all up for the big lap. Shannon worked as a dive master for tourist boats and also lived aboard a research vessel eradicating crown of thorn starfish for the Great Barrier Reef. She then went into hospitality before leaving on this trip.

We are a very easy going couple and would be very respectful of any rules or boundaries you have for your home. We’ve managed to fit our lives into a 4x4 so being tidy and organised is something we’ve truly mastered even more since living on the road. We know how to keep a house clean and when to get ourselves dirty for garden work or any other chores around the house. We have house sit before and can provide a reference!
