Bonjour et G'day!
We are an Australian- Dutch family who embarked on a house-sitting journey in 2018. We applied for a château sit in the South -West of France and were able to stay there for more than 2 fab years . During Covid we were offered a long-term housesit back in Sydney ( Windsor) on 5 acres with Alpacas and English sheepdogs. We decided to take the offer at the end of 2020, mainly for the kids prefering schools here.
In France we looked after a Château amidst 12 hectares of vines. We are ( now) very experienced with a lot of different machinery like ride -on mowers, tractors, fork lifts also septic tanks, quad bikes, trailers, pool maintenance, professional wood choppers and an acquired taste for Bordeaux supérieur 😉
We love animals and are totally respectful of other people's belongings.
In 2022 we moved into another longterm house sit on the leafy North Shore of Sydney.
HOWEVER HERE IS THE TWIST....We were asked to come back longterm where we started our journey 5 years ago and we accepted soooo we will only come back for an ozzie trip and will use this website as we had some awesome sits.
