Hi, we are a semi retired couple who own a modern fully off the grid property in southern Tasmania . We moved there after 30 years working in government IT roles in Canberra . Two of our adult children live and work in ACT. I’m originally from Sydney and open to house sits there as I work from home. Currently we are back living in Canberra while my husband works on a short government contract. We have no pets now but up until 2 years ago we have always owned dogs and cats. My first puppy was a pure bred Rottweiler Keyon who I trained to win the Victorian Rottweiler dog show back in 1982 . Raising our 3 children over 27 years we’ve had 3 cats , a few mixed breed rescue dogs , a cavalier king Charles spaniel Sushi , a Maltese rescue Bobbi, and then a chihuahua George . We have also cared for chooks, goats and rabbits . Currently we rent a lovely small apartment in O’Connor ACT and are happy to pet/ house sit any time while we are back on the mainland in Canberra or Sydney coastal regions. As Home owners we have used pet setters ourselves many times over the years both in Canberra and Tasmania.
