I have been house and pet sitting for over 20 years, mostly in Melbourne and Sydney In 2018 myself and a co-sitter spent a month in Canada. We had two dogs, two cats and fish. It was great. Love those Canadians! Also have spent time housesitting in UK usually in Somerset . My charges have been dogs, cats, birds, a horse, rabbits, chickens. I have given medication to animals (usually wrapped in food) without any difficulties.
