More information about this house sitter

We are a quiet and respectful family of five who enjoy having all the comforts of home (including having pets around) while we travel which is why we enjoy housesitting. I am a university lecturer and HR professional, but currently doing a Masters in Social Work, and my partner in the electrical industry. Our children are primary school age and we have a one year old.

We have had several succesful couple and family housesits (and Airbnb stays) and would be happy to share our reviews and references. My parents also have a small farm so we have experience with cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, goats and alpacas (as well as the occasional cow or horse that wandered in). We have lived on acerage, in suburbia and now we live remote.

We love sustainable gardening and built a big wicking bed plot at our last place in the Dandenongs. We have owned cats, dogs, chickens and reptiles (mainly lizards). Our daughter Aria (8) is animal obsessed and wants us to buy a farm but for now we will stick to any farm housesits that come our way!

We are mindful of the homes we stay in and treat its contents with the utmost of care. We love animals, the outdoors and exploring our new (temporary) surroundings. Rest assured that if we stay in your home, we will treat your house, your animals and land with respect and enjoy what the area has to offer.

We currently live in Alice Springs but will be in Adelaide soon for work and are looking for housesits until we find a home to buy. We are open to short and long term stays.
