More information about this house sitter

We are a semi-retired professional couple. We live active lives and are both practicing consultants, Rick in Career Counselling, Retirement Coaching and Janet in Organisational and Business Development. Our home on over 900 Sq metres, is located in the foothills of Adelaide. We have lived here for 25 years and it is where we brought up our now adult girls. We enjoy gardening (we also grow Orchids), cooking, staying fit and keeping up with current affairs. We love walking through the National Park which backs onto our property, where there is an abundance of birdlife, kangaroos, koalas, possums, reptiles, echidnas, other fauna and flora.
We have owned cats, dogs, a cockatiel, rats, mice, chickens, guinea pigs, fish and turtles. We once even cared for a next-door neighbour’s snakes, lizards and native animals. We enjoy caring for animals and have cared for many of our friends’ pets. Our beautiful Maltese/Shitzu of 16 years (Clinton) sadly passed away and currently we have a rescue ragdoll cat called Charlie.
We are fastidiously tidy and ensure a clean, well-maintained home. We have frequently provided advice on maintenance issues at paid accommodation to improve the facilities, resulting in excellent feedback from owners about our comments and cleanliness. Owners have encouraged us to return as guests and on one occasion we were provided a weekend free of charge for our efforts. We are now seeking opportunities to spend more time travelling and spending time in clean comfortable home environments like our own. Look forward to your contact. Read more...
