More information about this house sitter

We are a married semi -retired couple (David and Debra ). Our areas of expertise were secondary teaching (P.E, Outdoor Ed and Science) and Early Childhood teaching. We have lived near Hobart at Kingston close to the beach, bush and rural settings for 25 years and have a 4 bedroom house which we maintain to a high standard.

We currently travel between Hobart Tasmania and South Australia visiting our only daughter and enjoying house and dog sitting and have done so for the past 4 years .
At the moment our daughter lives in Mount Barker and is an animal scientist working with assistance puppies/dogs in Adelaide.

We are looking for house sitting Southeastern Adelaide or out of the city in the Adelaide Hills or Fleurieu region as we both love the outdoors and prefer being in the country or near the love the beach. We are very active and keen bushwalker, gardeners, swimmers, cyclists anything active and keeping fit!! Deb is also keen on yoga, choir and qigong. We love the company of and caring for animals especially dogs as we have always had Labradors as part of tour family. Also, we have had some experience with farm animals as our siblings in Victoria have an agistment farm. Over the years we have constantly travelled to the mainland (S.A. Vic ACT NSW) to stay with relatives and friends camp and explore and we have had a year house and work exchange to BC Canada.

We have had variety of excellent suburban and farm experiences with house /animal sitting at Pages Flat 100-acre farm (cows sheep, dogs chooks 2 stays), Penwortham cottage (cat, chooks), Clare 5 acres (dogs chooks, sheep), Port Eliott beach house (dog 2stays), Bellevue Heights(dog), Torrens Park (historic house and garden).
We would consider it very important to be home most of the time when caring for your pets and gardens. Read more...
