Hi all! I'm Gab, an experienced house and pet sitter. I'm originally from regional VIC, but I’ve lived in Melbourne for most of my adult life. I studied Global Studies (Spanish and Latin American studies) and Science (Genetics), during which I spent a year and a half working and studying in Spain. I’m passionate about social justice and intersectional human rights matters, and marine science and conservation.

In my down time, I enjoy swimming, diving, hiking, cooking and meeting new people. I'm outgoing, friendly, and always willing to give something a go. I am a huge animal lover, and grew up surrounded by pets in the house and at school, primarily dogs, but also birds, cats, rabbits, lizards, mice, fish, crabs.

Through sitting sites, family, friends, and word of mouth recommendations, I have been fortunate to have had multiple amazing house and pet sit opportunities over the last 5+ years. These range from an incredibly hyperactive spoodle, a quirky cat who loved to poop in the shower and on the bed (so fun to clean up!), the gentle giant great dane from who loved cuddles, or my family friend's anxious toy poodle who followed me everywhere I go.

I am a very active person and will happily walk your pet daily as part of the pet sitting service.

I am happy to provide references from previous pet and house sits upon request.
