About this house sitting position in MARGATE

We have a lovely little high set 3 BR home 10 minutes walk from the beautiful Margate Beach and a shopping village at the end of our street, just a few minutes walk away (including a Woolies).

There are beds (1 Queen, 1 Double) in two of the bedrooms and you are also welcome to use the 3rd bedroom as you wish. There are ceiling fans in the living areas and 2 of the 3 bedrooms (the 2 with beds). As well the main living area, we also have a casual living area under the house with a projector screen (chromecast attached so you can cast your own content), an outdoor BBQ and firepit and trampoline. So this place would be ideal for kids and adults.

As well as the beach, there is the Redcliffe markets, lagoon and shopping centre/cinemas all a few minutes drive away. Brisbane city is about 30 minutes south and the Sunshine Coast about an hour north.

Our little Australian Red Kelpie X is just about to turn 3 and is very friendly and playful. He needs to spend a bit of time with you before he feels comfortable but after that, you will be his best friend and he loves (and is gentle with) kids. Very young kids might feel a bit overwhelmed with him at first because he loves to play bite but he is quite gentle with little ones. He has plenty of yard to run about but we like to get him up the local dog park a couple of times a week. It would be great if you can too, but not required if you can't.

We also have an 18 y.o pet carpet python who requires no looking after. She is contained in her tank/cage and you are welcome to admire her but you don't need to feed her. It goes without saying she is harmless and easy going so you are welcome to pat/handle her or just leave her be. Read more...
